Vancouver, BC – March 14, 2008 – Even Technologies Inc. (TSX-V: ETI) announces today that a contract has been signed with Cupertino Trading Ltd. (“Cupertino”) for deployment of a PSI_FI™ Compression and Decompression application to search and identify images in a compressed video stream for strategic security and military applications. Under the terms of the agreement, Cupertino will pay to Even Technologies an initial payment of $500,000.
Cupertino Trading will integrate the PSI_FI™ compression solution into an automated image detection program created to analyze the compressed video and compare the data to files stored in the database. The PSI_FI™ compressed files will also be used to build new databases in the library of video files.
The reduced file sizes will enable analytics to be performed on standard work stations and will facilitate extremely accurate searches. It will also enable the implementation of advanced features such as automated hyper-linking and implicit inquiry.
The key developed features will include the ability to recognize a face; authenticate identification based on facial templates, motion detection and search triggers; search existing databases for known images; extract images from a live stream; and provide alarm triggers. The system will be designed for integration with current enterprise solutions and databases for on-line and off-line enrolment, data accuracy and scalability for very large applications.

About Cupertino Trading Ltd.
The file image search technology developed by Cupertino has the ability to search facial images in a bit-stream using standard 21 point biometric characteristics. The technology will rely on the bit-stream being presented in a compressed format for file-size reduction and acceptable rates of return for search results based on reduced search field sizes permitting efficient analytics. The search criteria is based on the ability to detect a face and encode for storage, authenticating ID based on facial templates, motion detection and search triggers, search of existing data bases for known images, extracting images from a live stream and alarm triggers.
